This will be one of the first boss battles you will encounter in this game. It can be completed by a party of LV1+, and can be soloed with varying degrees of difficulty depending on job type by characters LV4+.

The first 3 blocks of the mission will involve killing enemies to obtain keys that will open various doors and force fields. The first block will have four (4) keys to obtain, while the next two will only have one (1) each.

At block 4 you will encounter the boss SEED-Vance who has the following special attacks.

• Ranged Energy Attack: Deals significant damage to whomever it hits as well as knocks them down. This is a slow moving attack and is easily avoidable.
• Ranged Flame Attack: Deals fire damage and may cause the player to be set on fire. This is a slow moving attack and is easily avoidable.
• Distance Tentacle Attack: Enemy tentacle burrows under the floor and surfaces near the player. Deals AoE physical damage.
• Spinning Attack: Close-range attack where the boss spins his tentacles around him dealing a significant AoE attack. Will not use this move unless players are very close to it.
